Russian truck market has declined by 2% in 2019


RusAutoNewsCom.- Russian truck market has declived by 2.0% in 2019 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat data, 80,657 new trucks have been sold in Russia in 2019.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the Russian market, with 35% share in total. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 27,603 units, which is 7.3% or 1878 units more than the previous year’s figure. The leader is followed by GAZ with 8855 vehicles (+5.9% year-on-year). The top-three is completed by Volvo with 5653 units (-11.0%). Scania with 5621 units (-16.0%) and MAN with 5013 (-1.5%) are the remaining brands of the top-five.

Kamaz-43118 was again the best-selling model in 2019 with 6781 units and 3.3% year-on-year rise, followed by Gazon Next with 6020 units (+4.6%) and Kamaz-65115 with 4927 units (+10.9%).
