Russian truck market has declined by 18% in March 2020


 

RusAutoNewsCom. – Russian truck market has decreased by 17.9% in March 2020 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat 5,490 new trucks have been sold in Russia in March.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the market, with more than 34% share in total. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 1,879 units in March, which indicates a 24.8% year-on-year fall.

The leader is followed by GAZ with 518 vehicles and 32.8% year-on-year fall. The top-three is completed by Volvo with 422 units and 27.5% year-on-year fall.

Kamaz-43118 was the best-selling model in March 2020 with 651 units and 1.9% year-on-year rise. Volvo FH was the best-selling foreign model in March with 301 units sold indicating 11.2% year-on-year fall.
