Russian bus market has declined by 65% in April 2020


Autostat.- Russian bus market (excluding LCVs) has amounted to 502 vehicles in April 2020, following a 65% year-on-year fall.

PAZ has become the leader of the market, with more than 60% share of the total volume. 308 PAZ buses have been sold in April 2020, indicating a 57% year-on-year fall.

Nefaz occupies the second spot with 67 units (-42%) and Belarusian MAZ comes third in the rankings with 47 vehicles.

The PAZ-3205 has become the best-sold model within the aforementioned period, with a sales figure of 158 units (-54%), followed by small-class, high-floor PAZ-3204 (75 units, -67%) and Nefaz-5299 (67 units, -42%).

Russian new bus market has amounted to 3.9 thousand units by the end of January-April period of 2020, following a 4% year-on-year shrinkage.
