Russian truck market has declined by 13% in May 2020


 

RusAutoNewsCom. – Russian truck market has decreased by 12.6% in May 2020 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat 4,391 new trucks have been sold in Russia in May.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the market, with more than 45% share in total. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2,005 units in May, which indicates a 34.0% year-on-year rise.

The leader is followed by GAZ with 466 vehicles and 15.1% year-on-year fall. The top-three is completed by Isuzu with 241 units and 4.8% year-on-year rise.

Kamaz 43118 was the best-selling model in May 2020 with 488 units and 39.0% year-on-year rise. Mercedes-Bez Actros was the best-selling foreign model in May with 157 units sold, indicating 36.9% year-on-year fall.
