Russian truck market has declined by 11% in August 2020


 

RusAutoNewsCom. – Russian truck market has decreased by 10.5% in August 2020 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat 5,930 new trucks have been sold in Russia in August.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the market, with more than 40% share in total. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2,327 units in August, which indicates a 0.5% year-on-year rise.

The leader is followed by GAZ with 592 vehicles and 29.2% year-on-year fall. The top-three is completed by Scania with 371 units and 0.3% year-on-year rise.

Kamaz-43118 was the best-selling model in August 2020 with 524 units and 1.7% year-on-year rise. Mercedes-Benz Actros was the best-selling foreign model in August with 274 units sold, indicating 75.6% year-on-year rise.
