UralAZ has started the production of the new 8×8 Ural 9593 truck


 

RusAutoNewsCom.- As reported by the company press office, line assembly of the 8×8 four-axle Ural 9593 vehicle has started at UralAZ in September 2020. The new automobile has a gross weight of 44 tonnes. The model will expand the product range of the enterprise and increase the possibility of installing various types of special heavy-duty superstructures on Ural chassis.

The assembly of the vehicle has been launched on the main conveyor of the UralAZ within the framework of the serial production project. Seven Ural 9593 vehicles will be assembled and put on the market in 2020, which will be used as chassis for heavy cranes manufactured by the Chelyabinsk Mechanical Plant. The cranes will be handed over to the corporate customer of UralAZ: Surgutneftegaz.

The vehicles are equipped with 422 hp, Euro-5 standard YaMZ-653 engines with 2000 Nm torque, 16-speed transmissions and 2-speed transfer cases. The cabins are cabover-free, with a berth, ergonomically improved and heat and noise insulated.
