Russian truck market has declined by 9% in October 2020


 

RusAutoNewsCom. – Russian truck market has decreased by 9.2% in October 2020 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat 7,401 new trucks have been sold in Russia in October.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the market, with 37% share in total. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2,711 units in October, which indicates a 2.9% year-on-year fall.

The leader is followed by Scania with 656 vehicles and 37.2% year-on-year rise. The top-three is completed by GAZ with 534 units and 37.8% year-on-year fall.

Kamaz-5490 was the best-selling model in October 2020 with 605 units and 2.4% year-on-year fall. Scania R was the best-selling foreign model in October with 381 units sold, indicating 38.0% year-on-year rise.
