Russian truck market has declined by 16% in January 2021


 

RusAutoNewsCom. – Russian truck market has decreased by 15.9% in January 2021 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat 5,126 new trucks have been sold in Russia in January.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the market, with 40% share in total. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2,031 units in January, which indicates a 5.3% year-on-year rise.

The leader is followed by GAZ with 433 vehicles and 29.6% year-on-year fall. The top-three is completed by Volvo with 391 units and 21.3% year-on-year fall.

Kamaz 43118 was the best-selling model in January 2021 with 607 units and 11.0% year-on-year rise. Volvo FM was the best-selling foreign model in January with 200 units sold, indicating 13.6% year-on-year rise.
