Daimler Kamaz Rus has announced the 2020 figures

Autostat.- Daimler Kamaz Rus has sold 3747 vehicles in 2020, including Mercedes-Benz and Fuso trucks, SelecTrucks second-hand trucks and Setra and Mercedes-Benz buses. Mercedes-Benz and Fuso trucks have maintained their market shares, as reported by the company press office.

As noted, 2020 has become marked by the launch of the long-awaited model: the new generation Euro-6 Actros 1845 LS to the Russian market. The truck is manufactured at the Naberezhnye Chelny plant. The company managed to fulfil the sales plan for Actros Euro 6 by the end of last year. The clients, whose businesses are concentrated on international transport within the territory of Europe have appreciated the advantages of the model, in terms of environmentally friendliness and the reduction in motorway tolls.

Zetros model will return to Russia in 2021, which was absent from the domestic market for a few years, due to the lack of the Euro-5 environmental standard version. The model has been developed by Mercedes-Benz later on and Daimler Kamaz Rus has decided to re-launch Zetros in Russia.

56 full-fledged partners united to form the dealer network of Mercedes-Benz trucks at the end of 2020, six of which commenced operations last year.
