Russian GAZ trucks have entered the Australian market

Motor ru.- Russian GAZ trucks have made their debut in Australian market with Sadko Next. The location of the steering wheel and the pedals have been changed for adaptation purposes to the local market, alongside the installation of other optics.

AAV company from Brisbane has become the distributor of GAZ Sadko Next. The model will be sold under the name of GAZ TrackMaster 4×4 in the local market. As the traffic runs through the left hand-side in Australia, the all-terrain GAZ trucks have been manufactured right hand-side drive and the pedals have been adjusted.

The all-terrain vehicles have been equipped with Soviet-style round headlights surrounded by plastic pads, especially for the Australian market. Sadko Next is sold with block headlights from Gazon Next in Russia.

The technical features of the Australian GAZ Sadko Next are similar to the Russian version of the truck. The all-terrain vehicle is driven by a 4.4-litre, 150 hp, 490 Nm turbo-diesel engine. The unit works with a 5-speed mechanical transmission and a transfer case, which is controlled through buttons on the dashboard.
