KAMAZ switches to Russian components

RusAutoNews.- The Russian truck manufacturer Kamaz will switch to the production of “classic trucks” made of Russian components and assemblies. The company has already faced a shortage of imported parts due to sanctions, as reported by the newspaper Izvestiya.

Because of the shortage of the components Cummins engines (USA), ZF gearbox (Germany) and Bosch fuel equipment (Germany) the company can not produce the new K3 model range trucks. The company plans to replace these parts with the Russian counterparts: Own engine, own KPP 154 gearbox and AZPI fuel equipment.
