BOSCH has severely restricted its business in Russia

RusAutoNews.- As reported by Der Spiegel, the German automotive components manufacturer Bosch has come under pressure after allegations of component supply for the Russian military and frozen its businesses in Russia.

The company has announced that both deliveries to Russia and the production in the country are suspended. The spare parts trade has already come to a standstill. The company also no longer supplies truck components to Russia and to Russian customers.

The German Federal Ministry of Economics has already started investigations against Bosch. Apparently there is a violation of EU sanctions. Since Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014, the export of so-called dual-use goods is only under certain conditions permitted. It should be clarified whether the company has violated the export ban on components that can be used for both civil and military purposes.
