Vehicle production in Russia has decreased by 57% within the 1st half


 

RusAutoNews.- Vehicle production in Russia has decreased by 56.8% year-on-year within the first half of 2022. According to ASM-Holding data 357.4 thousand transport vehicles (passenger cars, commercial vehicles, buses) have been manufactured in the country in January-June period of 2022.

Passenger cars production has decreased by 61.8% during the aforementioned period, amounting to 279.2 thousand units. The output of foreign brand cars in Russia has declined by 59.9% to 202.7 thousand vehicles.

LCV output has decreased in the same period by 27.7% to 42 thousand units.

Truck production, including light trucks, has declined by 17.7% in January-June period of 2022, amounting to 67.5 thousand units. The output of foreign brand trucks in Russia dropped by 54.5% year-on-year and amounted to 8.5 thousand units.

Bus production, including minibuses, has decreased by 25.5% during the aforementioned period, with 11.1 thousand units. The output of foreign brand buses in Russia has declined by 46.2% and amounted to1.5 thousand vehicles.
