RusAutoNews.Com – Car production in Russia has increased within the first ten months of 2017. According to ASM Holding data, 1.271.970 units transport vehicles (trucks, cars, buses) have been manufactured in Russia within the January-October 2017 period, which is equivalent to a 21,1% year-on-year rise.
Passenger cars production has increased by 22,3% y/y during the aforementioned period, with 1.112.950 units. The production of foreign brand cars in Russia went up 22,8% to 827,8 thousand vehicles.
LCV production has also grown in the same period, by 6,3% to 97,8 thousand units.
Truck production, including light trucks, has risen by 16,8% by the end of the first ten months of 2017, amounting to 125,3 thousand units. The output of foreign brand trucks in Russia went up 96,5% to 20,9 thousand units.
Bus production, including microbuses, has increased by 3,1% during the aforementioned period, with 34,1 thousand units. The output of foreign brand buses in Russia went up 5,9% to 8,2 thousand units.
Car production in Russia amounted to 165.105 units in October 2017.
