Autostat. – The Russian LCV market has amounted to 52,889 units within the first half of 2018, following an 5.4% year-on-year growth, according to Autostat data / LCV: Light Commercial Vehicles.
The traditional leader of the market GAZ has kept its position, with more than 45% market share in total. GAZ has sold 23,936 vehicles, which is equivalent to a 9.5% year-on-year rise.
UAZ occupies the second place, reaching a sales figure of 7755 units and 30.6% year-on-year fall.
The top-three is completed by LADA with 5101 units, which indicates a 8.9% year-on-year rise.
Ford came fourth with 4776 units and 59% year-on-year growth. Mercedes-Benz has the fifth place in the rankings with 4280 cars and 15.2% year-on-year growth respectively.
Gazelle Next was the best-selling LCV model within the first half of 2018 with 14,131 units followed by GAZ 3302: 5110 units, 1.3% year-on-year fall and Ford Transit: 4488 units with 52.3% year-on-year growth.
8970 light commercial vehicles have been sold in Russia in June 2018, indicating a 0.5% year-on-year fall.
