RusAutoNewsCom.- According to Auto-Dealer-SPb data, the share of St Petersburg automotive industry in Russian car production has amounted to 25.6% in January 2019. Hyundai, Nissan and Toyota factories have manufactured 28,900 automobiles during the aforementioned period, which is equivalent to a 2% year-on-year rise.
9 models have been manufactured by St Petersburg automotive industry in January 2019: Nissan Qashqai, Nissan X-Trail, Nissan Murano, Toyota Camry, Toyota RAV4, Hyundai Solaris, Hyundai Creta, Kia Rio and KIA Rio X-Line.
7 models manufactured in the city are amongst the top-25 most popular cars in Russia, according to AEB: KIA Rio is the best-selling foreign car model in Russia, Hyundai Creta ist the most popular SUV in Russia, Hyundai Solaris, Toyota Camry, Toyota RAV4, Nissan Qashqai and Nissan X-Trail are amongst the top-25.
