The production of new Kamaz trucks has been launched in Kazakhstan


 

RusAutoNewsCom.- As announced by Kamaz press office, the production of K4 generation Kamaz – 5490 and Kamaz – 65206 has been launched by Kamaz Engineering, which is a joint venture of Kamaz and the Kazakh state enterprise Kazakhstan Engineering.

Kamaz Engineering has been manufacturing Kamaz vehicles since 2005. The production of long-haul trucks from the new model range has been launched by the partners of the joint venture in the beginning of this autumn. Fifteen Kamaz – 5490 and two Kamaz – 65206 vehicles have been manufactured thus far. The production of these particular models has been developed as a result of demand from customers, who have high requirements not only on the technical features of the vehicles, but also on the convenience of their operation and driving comfort.

The first six Kamaz – 5490 vehicles have already been delivered to small and medium-sized businesses in installments for up to 36 months, with an initial payment of 10% and a fixed rate of 12% per annum in tenge. The company has plans to increase the production of the trucks to 100 units for next year, as well as mastering the manufacturing processes of Kamaz – 65207 dropside trucks and Kamaz – 54901 long-haul tractors.

The Kazakh-Russian joint venture Kamaz Engineering (Kokshetau, Kazakhstan) has manufactured more than 15,000 vehicles during its 15 years of operations. The model range of the enterprise includes 85 base models and 98 different modifications of trucks and special vehicles on Kamaz chassis.
