Russian car market has risen to the fourth place in Europe in October 2020


 

Autostat.- Russian car market has risen to the fourth place in Europe in October 2020.

According to European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association ACEA data, Germany has become the European leader in sales in October with 274,303 vehicles (-3.6%).

The second spot is occupied by France in the European automobile market with 171,049 vehicles (-9.5%). Italy follows the top-three with 156,978 units (-0.2%).

If Russia is taken into account in the evaluation of the European market, then the country has risen to the fourth place in the rankings. As estimated by Autostat, approximately 144,000 passenger cars have been sold in Russia last month (without LCVs).

The top-five has been completed by Great Britain, where the dealers sold 140,945 automobiles (-1.6%).
