Russian LCV market has declined by 7% in 2020


RusAutoNewsCom.- The Russian LCV market has amounted to 104,311 units in 2020, indicating a 7% year-on-year fall, according to Autostat data.

The traditional leader of the market GAZ has kept its position, with 43% market share in total. GAZ has sold 44,481 vehicles, which indicates a 12.3% year-on-year fall.

UAZ occupies the second place, reaching a sales figure of 14,531 units (-16.1% year-on-year). Top-three is completed by Ford with 13,970 units (+7.5%). Lada LCV with 12,610 units (+13.7%) and Volkswagen with 4,129 units (-27.7%) came fourth and fifth respectively.

Gazelle Next was again the best-selling truck model in 2020 with 25,017 units, followed by Ford Transit with 13,867 units and Lada Largus LCV with 10,904 units.
