Russian truck market has grown by 45% in March 2021


 

RusAutoNewsCom. – Russian truck market has increased by 45.1% in March 2021 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat, 7,968 new trucks have been sold in Russia in March.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the market, with more than 35% share in total. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2,836 units in March, which indicates a 50.9% year-on-year rise.

GAZ occupies the second spot, reaching a sales figure of 762 units. The top-three is completed by Scania with 623 units. MAZ and Ural came fourth and fifth respectively.

Kamaz 43118 was the best-selling model in March 2021 with 791 units and 20.9% year-on-year rise. Volvo FH was the best-selling foreign model in March with 298 units sold, indicating 1.0% year-on-year fall.
