Russian truck market has grown by 106% in April 2021


 

RusAutoNewsCom. – Russian truck market has increased by 106.0% in April 2021 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat, 9,720 new trucks have been sold in Russia in April.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the market, with more than 34% share in total. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 3,252 units in April, which indicates a 82.3% year-on-year rise.

GAZ occupies the second spot, reaching a sales figure of 946 units. The top-three is completed by Scania with 840 units. MAZ and MAN came fourth and fifth respectively.

Kamaz 5490 was the best-selling model in April 2021 with 723 units and 185.8% year-on-year rise. Volvo FH was the best-selling foreign model in April with 414 units sold, indicating 132.6% year-on-year rise.
