The production of the new KAMAZ 54901 trucks has begun in Kazakhstan


 

RusAutoNews.- As announced by Kamaz press office, the Russian-Kazakh JV “Kamaz-Engineering” has presented the first Kamaz 54901 trucks assembled on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The vehicles have been assembled at the Kamaz-Engineering plant located in Kokshetau.

The trucks are equipped with automated ZF gearboxes and with new 450 hp 6-cylinder in-line Euro-5 Kamaz engines. The service interval of the vehicle has been increased to 120 thousand, as well as a 10% fuel consumption reduction has been achieved. The basic configuration of the vehicles have an on-board satellite monitoring system ITIS-Kamaz.
