EU bans the export of new cars to Russia with a price above 50,000 euros

Rambler.- The European Union has introduced a fourth package of sanctions, which, among other things, involves a ban on the supply of new cars to Russia at a price of 50 thousand euros.

The United Kingdom, which is no longer a member of the European Union, is also imposing similar sanctions. It is expected that it will be impossible to export to Russia such European brands as Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, Jaguar, Porsche, Audi, BMW, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Lamborghini and other companies.

Now almost all EU carmakers have announced the suspension of sales and exports of cars to the Russian Federation. Among other reasons, it is indicated that the conflict in Ukraine have affected supply chains and the ruble exchange rate.
