KAMAZ continues the production of K4 and K5 generation trucks


 

RusAutoNews.- Kamaz will continue the production of the new model range K4 and K5 generation trucks in April and May, despite all the difficulties, as reported by the company press office.

A total of 537 vehicles of the new model range will be produced in March, including 315 units of the K4 generation and 222 of the K5 generation. 

The plan for April 125 units K4 and K5 trucks will be assembled, including 55 units of the Kamaz 54901 model. In May, 214 units of K4 trucks were planned.

As the General Director Sergey Kogogin noted, the task of the company is to start assembling K5 vehicles from January 2023 without the participation of foreign partners. The initial volume of produced trucks will be small, but the company does not plan to abandon the project.

The top management of the company is taking additional measures to organize the  components supply for the K4 line. The assembly of K4 vehicles continues at least until the end of this year.
