Vehicle production in Russia has decreased by 5% within the first two months


 

RusAutoNews.- Vehicle production in Russia has decreased by 4.3% year-on-year within the first two months of 2022. According to ASM-Holding data 230,919 transport vehicles (passenger cars, commercial vehicles, buses) have been manufactured in the country in January-February period of 2022.

Passenger cars production has decreased by 7.8% during the aforementioned period, amounting to 201.8 thousand units. The output of foreign brand cars in Russia has declined by 0.1% to 148.2 thousand vehicles.

LCV output has increased in the same period by 21.4% to 16.7 thousand units.

Truck production, including light trucks, has grown by 27.8% in January-February period of 2022, amounting to 25.5 thousand units. The output of foreign brand trucks in Russia went up by 33.0% year-on-year and amounted to 6.2 thousand units.

Bus production, including minibuses, has increased by 18.1% during the aforementioned period, with 3.7 thousand units. The output of foreign brand buses in Russia has grown by 52.2% to around 1000 vehicles.
