RNS – Kaluga PSA and Mitsubishi Motors factory has started the production of Peugeot Expert and Citroen Jumpy light commercial vehicles in full-cycle, as stated by the Russian office of PSA.
The production of current PSA models will be completed with the assembly of the new commercial vans, in addition to Citroen C4 sedan and Peugeot 408. The number of models will reach six, following the launch of the production of Citroen SpaceTourer and Peugeot Traveller passenger minibuses in mid-year. All models will be assembled on the same line, as told by the company.
Passenger and cargo-passenger versions, refrigerators, armoured encashment vehicles, mobile laboratories, social and emergency medical vehicles etc. are planned to be developed on the basis of Expert and Jumpy commercial vehicles.
Kaluga PSA and Mitsubishi plant also assembles Mitsubishi Outlander and Pajero Sport vehicles.
