Volkswagen will continue Audi assembly in Kaluga in 2015

Za rulyom – Volkswagen Group plans to continue Audi assembly at its Kaluga plant next year. The relevant statement has been made by the VW representative, speaking to Za rulyom.rf portal. The assemblies of Q3, Q5, A6, A7 and A8 models are being made in Kaluga factory, where Volkswagen Tiguan, Polo sedan and Skoda Rapid are manufactured.

The company had previously announced an annual assembly capacity of 10,000 Audi vehicles. The factory’s Audi production target for the next year has not been announced yet. 31,031 Audi have been sold in Russia during the January-November period of 2014 (-8%).
