Interfax – Russian car production has fallen by 25.9% in March and by 26.3% by the end of the first quarter, according to the Federal Statistics Service. A total number of 249,000 passenger cars have been manufactured during the first quarter, as stated by Rosstat.
Truck production, on the other hand, has risen by 2.2% in March, year-on-year. The quarterly increase rate reached 15.2%, to 25,800 vehicles.
Bus production shrank by 18.8% in March. The quarterly figure went down by 9%, to 6000 vehicles.
