RNS – KAMAZ and Siemens have signed a cooperation agreement at St. Petersburg, as announced by KAMAZ.
Creation of a unified platform is planned at KAMAZ, for monitoring and operational management of various production facilities in real time. The companies will develop standards for industrial automation.
The companies will also look into possibilities to implement projects on electric car and bus production. Siemens has the technology to develop electric vehicles, as well as solutions to create the necessary infrastructure for hybrid transport, as stated by KAMAZ.
