The revenue from new car sales up by 10% within the first half of 2017

Autostat – The revenue from new car sales has increased by 10% year-on-year by the end of the first half of 2017 in Russia, to 890 billion rubles, as calculated by Autostat.

Toyota has kept its leadership in the Russian market, increasing the revenue from new car sales by 1%, to almost 100 billion rubles. KIA sales amounted to 93 billion rubles, which is equivalent to a 37% rise, in comparison with the same period of the previous year. The same indicator has increased by 20% for LADA, to 75 billion rubles.

The revenue from new car sales has fallen by 8% for Mercedes-Benz, to 72 billion rubles. As a result, Mercedes-Benz has been overtaken by Hyundai at the fourth place. The Korean brand has generated a revenue of 73 billion rubles from sales, following a 20% increase.
