RusAutoNews.Com – KIA sales up by 15,9% year-on-year in October 2017 as reported by KIA Motors Rus press office. Russian dealers have sold 17.407 vehicles in October this year. 152.630 KIA automobiles have been sold in Russia within the first ten months of the year (+25.4% y/y).
According to preliminary data, KIA has kept its leadership amongst the foreign car brands represented in Russia, with 11.8% market share in October 2017. The market share of KIA for the ten months of 2017 amounted 12% year-on-year.
Rio has become the most popular model in the Russian market, with a sales figure of 8779 sedans in October (-1,9% y/y). The crossover Sportage occupies the second spot, which was preferred by 2068 clients, following a 8,6% year-on-year increase. Optima has the third place again in the ratings with 1582 units (+87,4% y/y).
KIA vehicles are currently sold in more than 180 dealer centres, throughout 94 Russian cities.
