Mazda Sollers has started the serial production of Mazda CX-9 crossovers

RusAutoNews.Com – Mazda Sollers Manufacturing Rus has launched the serial production of the new model: the large 7-seater crossover Mazda CX-9. It is the third Mazda model assembled in Vladivostok by the joint venture of Mazda Motor Corporation and PSJC Sollers, in addition to CX-5 crossover and Mazda6 sedan.

“Russian car market has shown positive dynamics last year, demand for new automobiles has risen amongst the clients. The market conjecture has allowed Mazda to extend its model range, manufactured within the scope of the joint venture” – commented the general director of Mazda Sollers: Dimitri Kudinov.

Mazda CX-9 will be manufactured in two trim levels (Supreme and Exclusive), with seven colour options.

“Mazda Sollers Manufacturing Rus is a joint venture of Mazda Motor Corporation and PSJC Sollers, established in 50/50 partnership. The company operates within the global network of the Japanese OEM, spread throughout the world. The assembly equipment and test lines have been modernised by Russian and Japanese specialists at the plant in Vladivostok, within the framework of preparation for the production of the new crossover, alongside the equipment used to support the internal logistics processes of the enterprise.
