RusAutoNews.Com – Vehicle production in Russia has been increased within the first quarter of 2018. According to ASM Holding data, 407.839 transport vehicles (trucks, cars, buses) have been manufactured in Russia within the January-March 2018 period, which is equivalent to a 19.7% year-on-year rise.
Passenger cars production has increased by 21,6% y/y during the aforementioned period, with 369.674 units. The production of foreign brand cars in Russia went up 20,8% to 276,3 thousand vehicles.
LCV production has also grown in the same period, by 3,8% to 23.473 thousand units.
Truck production, including light trucks, has risen by 4,9% by the end of the first quarter of 2018, amounting to 30.586 units. The output of foreign brand trucks in Russia went up 51,9% to 5,9 thousand units.
Bus production, including microbuses, has increased by 1,7% during the aforementioned period, with 7630 units. The output of foreign brand buses in Russia went down by 7,9% to 2 thousand units.
