Interfax – AVTOTOR has increased car production by 30% year-on-year within the January-June 2018 period, to 99,300 units, as told by the company press office to Interfax.
The growth was a result of the serial production of popular brands, as well as the assembly of new models, as stated by a press office member.
In particular, the company has launched the production of Hyundai Sonata, Genesis G80 and KIA Stinger. In addition, AVTOTOR has started the production of the third generation of BMW X3 crossovers and refrigerator trucks on the basis of Hyundai HD35 commercial vehicles, besides the full-cycle production of Hyundai HD65 vehicles.
