Russian LCV market has grown 5% within the January-October period of 2018

 

RusAutoNewsCom.- The Russian LCV market has amounted to 88,987 units within the January-October period of 2018, following a 4.7% year-on-year growth, according to Autostat data.

The traditional leader of the market GAZ has kept its position, with 45% market share in total. GAZ has sold 40,032 vehicles within ten months, which is equivalent to a 6.2% year-on-year rise.

UAZ occupies the second place, reaching a sales figure of 12,760 units and 22.5% year-on-year fall.

The top-three is completed by Lada with 8759 units, which indicates a 12.6% year-on-year rise.

Ford came fourth with 8669 units and 40.6% year-on-year growth. Mercedes-Benz has the fifth place in the rankings with 6524 cars and 4.1% year-on-year growth.

Gazelle Next was the best-selling LCV model within the January - October period of 2018 with 23,257 units followed by GAZ 3302: 8859 units and 1.1% year-on-year rise. Ford Transit sales amounted to 8161 units with 40.8% year-on-year growth.

9405 light commercial vehicles have been sold in Russia in October 2018, indicating a 4.3% year-on-year fall.
