RusAutoNewsCom.- Russian truck market has grown 2.7% in 2018 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat data, 82,289 new trucks have been sold in Russia in 2018.
Kamaz has kept the leadership of the Russian market, with 30% share in total. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 25,727 units, which indicates a 2.6% year-on-year fall. The leader is followed by GAZ with 8352 vehicles (+7.1% year-on-year), and the top-three is completed by Scania with 6679 units (+17.1%). Volvo with 6346 units (+5.9%) and MAN with 5083 (+7.3%) are the remaining brands of the top-five.
Kamaz-43118 was the best-selling model in 2018 with 6557 units and 11.7% year-on-year rise, followed by Gazon Next with 5746 units (+14.8%) and Kamaz-5490 with 4927 units (+28.8%).
