Russian truck market has grown 7% in January 2019

RusAutoNewsCom. – Russian truck market has grown 6.6% in January 2019 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat data 5,151 new trucks have been sold in Russia in January.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the Russian truck market, with more than 35% share in total in October. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 1,860 units, which indicates a 27.7% year-on-year rise.

The leader is followed by GAZ with 520 vehicles and 11.6% year-on-year fall. The top-three is completed by Scania with 481 units and 21.8% year-on-year rise. MAZ has the fourth place in the rankings with 328 units and 9.6% year-on-year fall. Volvo has the fifth place with 291 units and 29.2% year-on-year fall.

Kamaz-43118 was the best-selling truck model in January 2019 with 514 units and 19.8% year-on-year rise, followed by Kamaz-65115 with 359 units and 20.1% year-on-year growth. The top-three is completed by Gazon Next with 326 units, which indicates a 14.4% year-on-year fall.

Mercedes-Benz Actross was the best-selling foreign model in January with 216 units sold.
