Russian car market has declined by 3% in April 2019

RusAutoNewsCom. – As announced by the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee, Russian car market has decreased by 2.7%, or by 4129 units year-on-year in April 2019, and amounted to 148,296 vehicles.

Within the first four months of this year 539,946 cars were sold in total.

Joerg Schreiber, Chairman of the committee commented: “Market sales in April again struggled to catch up to the strong result achieved on year ago. Clearly, the market in its current shape is no match to the one we saw delivering consistent double-digit growth rates only 12 months ago”.

Lada was the most populer brand of the Russian car market in April 2019 with 32,316 units sold. Lada Granta was the most populer model with 12,652 units sold in April.

1-Lada. 2-Kia. 3-Hyundai. 4-Renault. 5-Volkswagen. 6-Toyota. 7-Skoda. 8-GAZ LCV. 9-Ford. 10-Mercedes Benz.

Top 10 best-selling car models in April:

1-Lada Granta. 2-Lada Vesta. 3-Kia Rio. 4-Hyundai Creta. 5-Volkswagen Polo. 6-Hyundai Solaris. 7-Lada Largus. 8-Renault Duster. 9-Renault Sandero. 10-Skoda Rapid.

All 10 models are manufactured in Russia.
