Skoda Auto will launch the mass production of Skoda Karoq in Russia


 

RusAutoNewsCom.- As reported by the company press office, Skoda Auto will launch the mass production of Skoda Karoq compact SUV in Russia, thereby meeting the steadily high demand for the vehicle.

Karoq vehicles are assembled in Nizhny Novgorod in full-cycle CKD method. The vehicle has become the third model to be manufactured in the Russian plant, following Octavia and Kodiaq.

Michael Oeljeklaus, the board member of Skoda Auto in charge of production and logistics, has made the following statement: “Since the launch of its production in October 2017, Karoq has become the favourite automobile of many clients worldwide. The demand for the model exceeds its supply significantly. Thanks to the production network of Volkswagen Group, we can now manufacture a higher number of the model, thereby meeting the steadily rising demand for our compact SUV”.
