Moscow has the largest car sharing fleet in the world


 

Autostat.- The volume of Moscow’s car sharing fleet amounts to 30,000 vehicles, as of the end of 2019. According to Autostat data, the fleet has practically doubled in size last year. As a result, Moscow has become the leader amongst the megacities of the world.

Japanese capital Tokyo was the previous leader, with over 20,000 vehicles. Beijing and Shanghai are the other cities, where car sharing is growing rapidly, with more than 20,000 vehicles each.

Yandex Drive is the main player in Russian car sharing market, which owns more than half of the fleet. Delimobile and BelkaCar are the other companies in the top three.
