Volvo Trucks will suspend truck production in Russia due to the Coronavirus


 

RNS.- Volvo Trucks will temporarily halt truck production at its Kaluga factory between 13-30 April, due to the Coronavirus and the interruption in component supplies, as told by the company press office to RNS.

“Paying attention to the unfortunate situation caused by the spread of the new Coronavirus (COVID-19), in order to protect the health of the employees and in compliance with the restrictive measures brought by the Russian federal government, the management of Volvo Group has taken the decision to suspend operations at its truck factory in Kaluga between 13-30 April 2020” - according to the statement.
