Russian luxury car market has grown by 10% within the first quarter of 2020


 

RusAutoNewsCom.- As reported by Autostat, the luxury car market in Russia has amounted to 297 vehicles within the first quarter of 2020, indicating a 10% year-on-year increase, up from 269 units.

Mercedes-Benz has remained the leader of the market with more than 40% market share. The brand is represented by one model only: Mercedes-Benz Maybach S-Class. 129 units Maybach S-Class have been sold in January-March period of 2020.

Bentley comes second in the rankings, with a sales figure of 66 vehicles. Rolls-Royce completes the top-three in the luxury segment with 40 units. 34 new Lamborghini, 22 Maserati, 4 Ferrari and 2 Aston Martin vehicles have hit the Russian roads within the first quarter of 2020, on the other hand.

Almost 3/4 of the luxury cars have been sold in Moscow and the surrounding region in the first quarter (214 units). The capital is followed by St. Petersburg – 28 units, Krasnodar Krai – 15 vehicles and Sverdlovsk – 6 units.
