Autostat.- Nissan has manufactured 19.560 automobiles in Russia within the first half of 2020, which is equivalent to a 39% decline. The relevant statement has been made by the press office of the company in Russia, noting that the figure corresponds with the plans and the expectations of the company, especially under quarantine conditions.
In particular, 16,103 Qashqai, X-Trail and Murano vehicles have been manufactured at the St Petersburg plant within the first half of the year (-35%). In addition, 3457 Terrano automobiles have been produced at the Moscow facilities of the Alliance member (-50.9%).
Furthermore, Nissan has exported 1291 Russian production vehicles within the aforementioned period (-27%), including 876 to Kazakhstan (-9.3%) and 415 to Belarus (-54%).
“Naturally, less vehicles have been exported to Kazakhstan, due to the pandemic and the quarantine measures implemented in the country. Nevertheless, we are observing a positive trend in market recovery in Kazakhstan and Belarus” - as stated by the Russian press office of Nissan.
