KAMAZ has launched the Express Spare Parts start-up


 

RusAutoNewsCom.- Kamaz has launched the Express Spare Parts start-up within the framework of the Corporate Accelerator of Digital Transformation Projects, thanks to which an order is delivered to the door of the customer as soon as possible.

The idea of the project belongs to staff members of AutoSpareParts Kamaz: the director of planning and supplies and the head of the Bureau of Urgent Shipment Organisation. “At that time a very simple idea was needed and we came up with the framework of the modernisation of spare parts supplies” – as told by the developers. Now, the clients of Kamaz can choose from alternative delivery options, since the company is actively developing the Express Spare Parts start-up.

Kamaz dealers were not able to supply spare parts previously, however, thanks to the introduction of the project, the delivery periods have been shortened by 2 or 3 times. The client has the option to go for either the classic delivery for regular prices or upgrade to express delivery for an additional amount of payment. The service has already received positive feedback. The dealer network of the enterprise has grown from 10 at the beginning of the process to 60, 40 of which became regular customers.

Express Spare Parts deals with customers who require rare parts from the company on a frequent basis. Kamaz is currently developing an online platform, through which it’s planned to increase the number of regular clients, as well as achieving further reduction in delivery times.
