RusAutoNewsCom.- Lada has summed up the sales figures for the first half of 2021. The company has sold 200,219 cars and light commercial vehicles in the Russian Federation within the January-June period of 2021, despite the ongoing instability in the economic situation and the deficit of imported components, achieving a 51% year-on-year growth and exceeding the results in the first half of 2019 by 14.9%.
There was a significant growth in the monthly sales figures of Lada in June with 40,096 units (+43.1% and +30.3% in comparison with the same periods of 2020 and 2019 respectively).
The sales numbers have mainly been pushed up by the Granta family: 14,133 units in June.
Vesta has kept the second place with a monthly sales figure of 11,932 units in June.
The third spot was occupied by the passenger car and LCV versions of the Largus line with 5682 units.
The rise in the sales of Niva models continued in June, the total sales figure of Niva Travel and Niva Legend amounting to 5399 units.

The upgrading of two of our popular models: Niva Travel and the Largus family has definitely had a positive effect in the sales volumes, as well as the launch of the sales of our vehicles with the new EnjoY Pro multimedia system with Yandex.Auto” – said the executive vice-president of Avtovaz in sales and marketing Olivier Morne.
