Autostat.- Mercedes-Benz has presented its first completely electric sedan EQS in Russia, which is expected to be released in the market during the first quarter of 2022. The 580 4Matic will be the first model to be put on the market, which has a travel range of up to 770 km according to WLTP, and a capacity of 385 kW, as reported by the Mercedes-Benz Rus press office. As noted, the Mercedes-EQ EQS is the first model to be built on a modular architecture for luxury and premium electric vehicles.
As stated by Autostat previously, the new electric sports business-class sedan EQE will also be launched in the Russian market in the summer of 2022, which offers all the key advantages of EQS automobiles in a slightly more compact version. In addition, the Mercedes-AMG SL roadster is expected to be available at Russian dealer centres from next spring onwards. The AMG SL is equipped with a 4.0-litre biturbo AMG V8 engine.
