RusAutoNews.- Car production in Russia has been increased by 10.4% within the first 11 months of 2021. According to ASM Holding data, 1.42 million units transport vehicles (trucks, cars, buses) have been manufactured within the January-November period of 2021.
Passenger cars production has increased by 8.4% year-on-year during the aforementioned period, to 1.23 million units. The output of foreign brand cars in Russia went up by 10.2% to 878.4 thousand vehicles.
Light commercial vehicles production has also increased in the same period, by 21.6% to 115.4 thousand units.
Trucks output, including light trucks, has grown by 28.9% by the end of the first eleven months of 2021, amounting to 157.9 thousand units. The output of foreign brand trucks in Russia has grown by 77.7% to 38.2 thousand units.
Bus production, including microbuses, has increased by 8.9% during the aforementioned period, to 32.3 thousand units. The output of foreign brand buses in Russia has grown by 0.4% and amounted to 6.2 thousand units.
