RusAutoNews.- Russian truck market has grown by 31.0% in 2021 year-on-year. According to Autostat data, 97,925 new trucks have been sold in Russia in 2021.
Kamaz has kept the leadership of the Russian market, with 36% share in total. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 35,140 units, which is 26.6% more than the previous year’s figure. The leader is followed by GAZ with 9,402 vehicles (+37.8% year-on-year). The top-three is completed by Scania with 7,124 units (+44.6%). Volvo with 5,629 units (+25.4%) and MAZ with 5,410 (+44.5%) are the remaining brands of the top-five.
Kamaz 5490 was the best-selling model in 2021, followed by Kamaz 43118 and Gazon Next.
