RusAutoNews.Com – KAMAZ has signed a contract, concerning the supply of more than 2400 units of motor vehicles to Cuba. The supply of spare parts and service equipments will also take place. The supplies will be made with the participation of the Russian Export Centre, which will provide loans to Cuban customers and insurance of the transactions within the frame of the Russian support programme for exporters.
The first party of the vehicles will have arrived in Havana by the end of November. KAMAZ will send a group of technical specialists by that time, in order to provide support for Cuban enterprises.
The share of KAMAZ in the Russian truck market of over 14 tonnes gross body weight has amounted to 58% (according to registrations) by the end of the January-October 2016 period, indicating a 9% year-on-year rise.
