RusAutoNews.Com – Toyota Motor has manufactured 61.340 Camry sedans and RAV4 crossovers in St. Petersburg within the first 11 months of 2017, achieving an 86% year-on-year growth, as stated by the company.
The exports from the Russian facility of Toyota Motor have also risen by the end of 11 months to 6178 units (1052 units Camry and 2126 units RAV4), indicating an 83,5% growth in comparison with the same period of last year. The localisation rate has exceeded 30%.
Toyota Motor has invested 27 billion ruble in the plant. The facility has a workforce of 2300 people. The capacity of the plant allows for an annual assembly figure of 100,000 units.
